Introducing Caryn Colman
According to her website blog, Caryn Colman began an odyssey in 2014, traveling with her two cats, Sophie and James and her mare Georgia Grace.
Escaping the cold winter of Temagami in North Eastern Ontario, Caryn set out with her camper and horse trailer on an adventure to experience whole foods, art making, riding and writing along with whatever the day would present.
At the beginning of this year Caryn started her new business, Equine Body Mind. With a passion for healing Caryn is focused on the healing power of massage for horses.
Riding since the age of four, horses have always been a part of her life. Completing an equine massage course while in North Eastern Ontario in 2006, Caryn is versed in many different variations of equine massage and knows how bene cial the treatments can be for horses.

Fire Prevention and Emergency Rescue Training for the Horse Racing Industry

For anyone working with horses this training workshop could help save their lives. Presented by Equine Guelph (University of Guelph) with funding and support from Grand River Agricultural Society and the Province of Ontario, Instructor Dr. Rebecca Gimenez will lead the two day seminar. The seminar is being hosted at Mohawk Racetrack on Tuesday, April 25 and Wednesday, April 27 from 8:30am - 4:30pm and the fee is $125 (plus HST) and includes lunch.
