That’s the pedigree page description—at the farm they call her Fury. Seems
dam, Firey Comet, won races at 3, 4, and 5 is a half sister to stakes winner LORD COMET and dam of Callmetony (by Runaway Groom) who has won almost a half million dollars, with-
a little young to have earned a nickname like that but from her  rst visit to the wide world out- side her stall she ran and bucked and reared and ran some more. She shows, even at this tender age a joy of life and of running. That’s in her blood. Her sire Katahaula County is a G3 stakes winner and one of the leading British Columbia sires. Her
out winning a stakes race, and is still running strong at age 7 on the eastern circuit.
At Wild Rose Farm in Langley, BC the squire of the manor is veterinar- ian Dr. Bryan Anderson who along with his wife Carol are hands on breeders of excellent reputation and the 2005 TOBA (Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association) award winners as ‘Canadian Breed- ers of the Year ‘.
