CARDathon
The Annual CARDathon in the Park was held on June 11. Participants of the ride through G. Ross Lord Park enjoyed a sunny, warm day for the event. Stacie Clark-Rogers was once again one of the Celebrity Riders who was invited to participate in the event which raised $74,000 for CARD, a program which provides high calibre therapeutic riding programs for riders with disabilities. That Woodbine oddsmaker Jennifer Morrison is the host of the “Early Morning Workout” seminars which are being offered free on Saturdays to race fans at Woodbine. In the trackside tent, from 8am to 10am, Jennifer offers handicapping insights and explains how the morning line odds are set. Jennifer will also have various Woodbine jockeys and trainers as her special guests each week.
Handicapper Jim Bannon will also be hosting a series of free teaching seminars every Saturday beginning at 11 am for one hour on the second floor of the grandstand.
