Richard’s Back in Business
Jockeys lend their support to The 2005 Kevin Weekes Greatest Goal Gala
Richard Moylen has spent the past year or so managing a bed and breakfast in Niagara-on-the-Lake for a friend, and said he “just had to get back to the horses.” With that said, he is now leasing a 110 acre farm on the Mono-Adjala Townline in Orangeville, located 40 minutes from Woodbine Racetrack.
The beautifully groomed farm boasts 24 immaculate 16 x 16 foot stalls in a bright and spacious barn. There are 13 paddocks of varying sizes and plans are underway for a outdoor arena and sandring. Richard is offering consigning, yearling sale preparation, breaking, lay-ups and broodmare/foaling services. For more information contact Richard

Jockeys lend their support to The 2005 Kevin Weekes Greatest Goal Gala
NHL goaltender Kevin Weekes, who recently guest-hosted on Woodbine's Toronto 1 telecast, will get an assist from members of the Toronto oval's riding colony on June 30, the night of his popular charity event known as the Greatest Goal Gala.
This year’s gala celebration takes place at the Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex, situated on Toronto’s waterfront.
"I have a great respect for the riders and consider them to be the toughest athletes you'll find," said Weekes, who signed as a free agent with the New York Rangers in 2004. "They are also wonderful people, very willing to lend their time and energy to a great cause. I am honoured to have their support."
Patrick Husbands and Jono Jones are among the riders who will be attending.
Celebrities, corporate partners, members of the business commu- nity and personal friends will unite for a night of fun and entertain- ment.
Live music, exquisite cuisine, silent and live auctions and a celebrity poker tournament will make this night unforgettable, but more importantly, raise funds and awareness for Shoot for a Cure for Spinal Cord Research, a hockey- focused campaign and a member of the Canadian Spinal Research Organization (CSRO).

Mobil finished sixth in the race and it was reported in the Daily Racing Form that “every time he put his foot down, walking home after the race, blood pumped out of it.”
The Gustav Schickedanz bred and owned 5-year-old horse was given time off by trainer Mike Keogh and is likely to make his next start in early July.
