Launched three years ago in the United States, the Equiwinner patch is helping racehorses by improving their health as well as their performance.

Past treatment for anhydrosis has been to move the horse to a cooler climate. However Equiwinner has proven to get horses sweating again, thus eliminating the need to send the horses away.
For horses that are tying-up, simply feeding electrolytes or other supplements does not alleviate the problem. A normally fit horse is not deficient in these nutrients.
