The Darley Flying Start Pro- gramme was founded in 2003 by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum of Dubai as an International Management Training Programme for the Thoroughbred industry.
The programme will take trainees to the United Kingdom, The United States, Dubai and Australia where they will work hands on as part of the stud or stable staff of the Darley operation where they are based.
Each year, Darley Flying Start offers 12 fully funded scholarships for the programme for those who
are “striving for excellence in their personal development and careers.”

TAhe Talaga’s are Back! fter a hiatus of 4 years, Joe and Laurie Talaga are back on the air with their
popular one hour radio program, “They’re At The Post,” a call-in horseracing radio talk show.
Joe Talaga will once again be sharing his talent for “picking horses” with his CHML AM900 listeners from 7am to 8am every Saturday beginning January 5, 2008.
Laurie is the Director and Producer of “They’re At The Post” which was con rmed to have more than 16,000 listeners in 2003 after more than 10 years on the air.
