Stressed Out?

Elevated stress is a daily occurrence. Most of us experience some form of anxiety multiple times in a day. Our horses are no different.
Horses don't have many options available to de-stress. Even the ones who seem to take it all in stride suffer from increased anxiety. Horses know when it is race day or the Vet or the Blacksmith walks in.
That little meaningless event to us, sends horses into Anxiety overload. Often their stress is pain related. We do so much to prepare for a race but often the simplest things are overlooked.
