Common Sense Health Part #14:
The Medical ‘Myths’ and Beliefs that keep most people sick . . .
Now before I start on the Health Myths, I want to make something very clear. I am not against ALL doctors and ALL medical treatments. There are many good people in the medical business who have the BEST intentions and have tried to fix the broken health system.
If I have my arm torn off in a car accident, I will not insist on a herbal tea and carrot juice to heal me. I would want a doctor or surgeon to sew it back together, if possible. Likewise if I get bitten by a poisonous snake or spider, I may not rely on just taking some more vitamins or making a green juice smoothie. (Even though I may still drink that as well) I will seek medical emergency help in that case.
Likewise, if I am a deep sea diver suffering from the ‘bends’, I would love to be treated in as modern a treatment facility as possible. Because for treatment of MOST, if not ALL accidents and traumas caused by a sudden event like car accident, cutting oneself on some glass etc. The medical business is fantastic. They know EXACTLY what caused the injury and how to treat it. And they do this really well. This is where modern medicine comes into its own. Emergency treatments that save many lives.
However, the problem comes with illnesses and traumas that are caused by lifestyle factors and medical drugs and not so easily seen or understandable. Chronic illnesses and diseases that develop over time, like diabetes, cancer asthma and such like.
Or those ‘potential’ threats to your health they keep warning you about . . . like the flu or those other ‘potentially deadly’ diseases they keep wanting to ‘vaccinate’ you against.
They are also often the ones the medical business will often ADMIT to not really knowing the actual cause of either. (This may or may not be true – as it involves their business investments and profits.) So here are some of the myths and truths as I a ‘medical and scientific dummy’ found them to be.
