“ Having started my career in audio visuals in the retail side of the sector and moving into the live events and conference space, my background has been largely customer focused.
In the 20+ years I have been working within the industry I have developed a good working knowledge of all areas. Running front of house sound, lighting and graphics production in a wide variety of events, from small award ceremonies and live streams, through to international conferences across Europe, such as the Healthcare Infection Society Annual Conference 2014 in Lyon and major live events such as The National Federation of Young Farmers AGM, which hosts both a conference and dance halls for 5000 members.
As the founder of Waggle Events in 2016 my recent experience has included FOH engineer at local festivals, including the Rainbow Festival in Ilfracombe, planning and running live stream events for clients such as Ipsen and acting as a subcontracted project manager for a Devon based AV supplier.

“ I have been working in the live sound industry for nearly 20 years, which includes producing the sound and lighting for Exmouth Festival from 2001 - 2009. This included the move from a scaffold stage to the permanent band stand in Manor Gardens. Having made the decision to work as a freelance engineer I continued to work on the festival for a number of years and the Exmouth Kite Festival on the Rec.

I have also regularly worked with a wide variety of artists, including local acts such as Joey the Lips, Diamond Dogs and Mad Dog Mcrae and international artists, including front of house engineer for Joss Stone, Beverly Knight and Jeff Beck.
My festival experience includes front of house engineer work on stages at Glastenbury, Carfest and Sidmouth Folk Festival as well as full production management for Bicton Fest and dance festivals for a large South West based events company and at venues including The Corn Exchange, Mama Stones and Sheldon Outdoor Theatre.”
