  HYGIENE | RESIN-SET DRS® BRUSHWARE
First developed in 1986, Resin-Set DRS® is the world’s most effective, versatile and reliable method of filament retention. The dual retention system (DRS®) minimises the risk of filament loss, which can have severe consequences in the food manufacturing industry. Food-grade stainless steel staples secure the filaments into a recessed brush back, which is then flooded with an anti-microbial epoxy resin. All components are FDA/EU food contact approved. The Resin-Set DRS® method is an EU community registered trademark and is a closely guarded process. Other manufacturers have appropriated the
resin-set technique, but none have managed to
achieve the same results as Hillbrush. Additives can also be added to the epoxy resin, like anti-microbial technology, which contains silver-ions to inhibit the growth of mould, mildew and bacteria, for unparalleled protection.
    HOW IT WORKS
Anti-microbial epoxy resin completely fills the recess, completing the DRS process
Filaments are folded and stapled to minimise filament loss
Food-grade stainless steel staples secure the filaments in place
