Comprehensive kit designed for setting camshaft and crankshaft timing position. Suitable for 1.7D & 2.5D Turbo chain drive diesel engines. Timing Chain compression lever and locking pins, injection pump sprocket retainer and lever, plus crankshaft holding tool are also included. Supplied in carry-case.

Removes the diesel pump and retains the pump sprocket in situ so that the sprockets/timing chain configuration remains undisturbed, minimising the level of engine disassembly.

C Injection & HP Pump Remover/Sprocket Retainer M47R Land Rover, Rover/MG Model No. VSE5665

Includes camshaft setting plate and TDC location pin which are required to set and lock the specified 1.7 and 2.5 diesel engines in the timing position. The kit also contains timing chain tensioner retaining pins (pair), tensioner compression lever and injection pump remover/sprocket retainer which is used to retain and support the sprocket and timing chains in position when the pump has been removed.
