Easy Start Technology
The new Makita easy-start system delivers quick and easy starting for chainsaws. The lightest pull on the cord when the engine flywheel is
at a standstill will activate a spring loaded assistance mechanism and speed the crank through the compression stroke and ignition sequence into the combustion cycle, giving you hassle free chainsaw starting time and time again.
Vibration Dampening Technology
Makita have developed a particularly effective system for damping engine vibrations: the Makita two-mass system known as M2M. The vibrating mass, consisting of the engine, bar and chain, is isolated from the other parts of the chain saw by vibration damper elements; it’s more effective than simply damping the handles. Effective vibration damping reduces the physical stress of working with a chainsaw. The hands remain steady when cutting and the guide bar can
be guided safely and accurately.
