P. 4
Dear Friends,
Like so many of us in 2020, we started the year with great anticipation. For NVNA and Hospice, the year focused on celebrating our 100th anniversary and launching the Grace Campaign.
An important part of the centennial year was to celebrate the women and men who have carried and defined the mission. Whether in the role of a nurse, physical therapist, board member, administrator, or volunteer, we know the history of our non-profit is rooted in the extraordinary work of countless individuals.
The term “extraordinary work” took on new meaning this year as the NVNA and Hospice team faced the most challenging health crisis of our time.
Our team was singular in their goal to continue uninterrupted care. With daily CDC and Department of Health updates to infection control protocols and the overwhelming challenges of securing personal protective equipment, our team was relentless in sustaining our mission in a very complicated landscape.
We are proud of the NVNA and Hospice team who met the moment and authored perhaps our finest chapter.
We are also very aware that our mission ultimately succeeds because of community investment.

Ending our first century of care in the home, we recognized
the Grace Campaign was an appropriate opening step as we challenge ourselves to do more for our patients, their families and the greater South Shore community. Our donors responded with inspiring generosity, and now we respectfully ask for your support as the Grace Campaign positions us for the next 100 years.
Grace allows us to see light in dark times. We remain hopeful and motivated by our patients, colleagues, and donors.
With appreciation,
Renee McInnes, RN, CEO, NVNA and Hospice
Jane C. Steinmetz, Grace Campaign Chair Boston Managing Principal at Ernst & Young
William Scalzulli, President, Board of Directors Director of Investments for the Kraft Group
