Underwater system designers must answer the following questions in order to select the most appropriate connector for their application. The use of these selection criteria becomes the basis for the purchasing specification.
Underwater connector selection criteria:
1. Will the connector transfer power, signal, or both?
2. What is the expected deployment duration or system service life?
