19.7.4 Remotely operated tooling (dual downline intervention)
As detailed in the standard, the remotely operated tooling (ROT), and/or a dual downline component change out (CCO) item, is typically used to deploy or change out subsea components that exceed the payload capacity of the vehicle. An example of a CCO would be a pipeline end termination (PLET), wellhead or other item requiring retrieval and/or setting on the seafloor.
