 Explanatory notes 1700-10:
According to res. Heren 17 o f 27.7.1710 the Amsterdam, Delft and Rotterdam chambers had together to send an additional fl 233,010 to
the above amount; the Enkhuizen chamber had sent 1 stuiver (fl 0.05) too much!
Gold is dispatched in bars o f the pagoda fineness, and in ducats. It is stated that in case of shortage o f Mexican reals silver bars, ducatoons
or gold may be sent. For silver bars the chambers may also send ducatoons.
Explanatory notes 1710-20:
According to the res. of 18.2.1720 a sum of fl 1,920,379 was still to be dispatched. Gold is sent in ducats (in any case for the sum of
fl1,205,000)andgoldbarsofthepagodafineness.Silverbarsareofthefinenessofrupees,11penn. 20gr.Thechambersweregenerally
allowed to send, if necessary, silver bars or ducatoons instead o f Mexicanen;
in gold bars, silver bars o r Mexicanen.
