As well as contributing to the upkeep and maintenance of the Priory Church the Trustees are required to use part of the income of theTrust to assist the inhabi- tants on the Parish of Edington who may be in financial need, hardship or distress. The Trustees construe these terms broadly and have, in the past three years, made nine grants totalling £1820 to assist parishioners in different ways.The next meeting will be held in May. MAGGIE’S JAZZ
To keep my hand in, I am promoting two concerts this spring. The first, on Sunday 14th April, was in the Ju- bilee Hall, Bratton and featured Harry Allen, tenor
sax from the U.S.A. with piano trio. The second will be onTuesday 28th May inThe Laverton,
Westbury, and will feature our old favourite, Rossano Sportiello from newYork, on piano with rhythm section.
