You shouldn’t be satisfied too easily
We strive to get someone as healthy as he would be if he wasn’t HIV positive, even though that means taking medicine every day. We aim to choose a treatment that fits in with your life, and not one that means you have to adapt your life to fit in with the treatment. I’m pretty sure people sometimes think, ‘My virus is under control, so I won’t complain; it must be part of it.’ We can’t always get people as healthy as we would like, sometimes a person has to learn to live with a discom- fort, but you shouldn’t be satisfied too easily.
