New Jersey Advances Our Shared Mission
The Society of the Cincinnati in the State of New Jersey
The New Jersey Society held its semi-annual spring meeting in Philadelphia on May 10, prior to the first session of the General Society’s Triennial. We focused on essential business and officer and committee reports.
President Ben Frick reported that he plans to submit proposals for supporting historic sites in New Jersey in order to achieve one of the purposes stated in our bylaws: “To conduct and support educational, cultural and literary activities that promote the memory of the American Revolution and the ideals of liberty and constitutional government.”
J. Logan Brown, treasurer, reported that the Society had performed well financially this fiscal year. Income was slightly higher than budgeted and
