The executors of a will or the administrators of an estate where someone has not left a will.
This is someone who has to fund his or her own care home fees without any help from a Local Authority because his or her assets exceed £23,250 in England and £40,000 in Wales.
A person given legal powers to hold and manage property for the benefit of another person.
