Cove Mouldings
For the purposes of this catalogue, we have grouped all plain pro les into this section titled “Cove Moudlings.” Even though many times these mouldings are used in the position of a “Crown” or “Cornice” we feel it is important to di erentiate them. In many cases, the coves are successfully utilized in indirect lighting conditions, or in conjunction with mouldings in our “Crown Moulding” section.
Interiors designed to observe a more modern aesthetic often call for the use of plain pro le cove mouldings such as these. Their slight lines and comparatively unobtrusive shapes provide architectural interest without dominating the space or forcing any particular period style.
