 AROUND THE PARISHES...DUBLIN
We wait in faith, even when we don’t know the future, yet we can anticipate what God has planned for us and know he cares for us through all the seasons of life.
As Eastertide has passed, we now look forward to Trinity Sunday, but the feeling of waiting remains. Hold on, listen and learn. Ponder with joy and thanksgiving what the Father, Son and Holy Spirit have done to accomplish salvation. We remember the Father as our Creator, the Son as Saviour and the Holy Spirit as our Comforter. We also celebrate the ministry of Holy Trinity which was first conceived and designed in 1825. Together we look forward to all that is ahead. Deeper connection, even in this liminal space, through creative means, working and praying in new, varied and innovative ways. A great reset for the church happened at Pentecost. Is the same happing again now? What is the Spirt saying to the church?

Children’s Ministry:
In celebration of Eastertide, Children’s Ministry has focused our lessons on Jesus as the Good Shepherd; as the Way, the Truth, and the Life; and Jesus’s promise to send the Holy Spirit, whose coming we looked at more for Pentecost. We are continuing to send out resources to families and upload them to the website, and will continue to have weekly Zoom calls for the 6-12 year olds. We have loved seeing all your videos, pictures, and participation in Sunday Services! Exciting things are on the horizon for June, so stay tuned! Kathleen, Bev, Bethan & Zoe.

Worship:
As we adjust to this new normal, our worship team, consisting of 18 volunteers have been meeting each Tuesday evening online to encourage and pray for one another. It has served as a great reminder of our wonderful community at Holy Trinity and allows us to live out part of our worship vision, ‘We are called to love each other deeply. We believe our team should build one another up with encouragement, using our words to bring life.’ It reminds us that God is present, and we don’t need a building to build community! Young Adult Ministry:
Our group continues to meet over Zoom on Thursday nights. If you’d like to join with students and young professionals as they journey through Romans, email Scott at scott@htrinity.ie
HT Youth:
We have been up to all sorts of shenanigans while stuck at home, be it through podcasts, YouTube devotionals or Zoom gatherings for all the teens. Our hope is that any young person can still be loved and supported during these tough times. Head on over to htrinity. ie/youthresources for more information. To learn more about our gatherings, contact Joe Ambrose 085 107 1899
Come Together Tuesdays:
Whilst not being able to meet together at present, I have been enjoying connecting with you by phone, recording clips for our services and in other small ways. I hope you’re enjoying the weather and being able to get out for walks again. I miss you all and look forward to seeing you again before too long. You are welcome to phone me for a chat any time. Alpha Marriage Course:
A great example of community happening outside of our church building is our Online Alpha Marriage Course. These 7 weekly sessions through zoom have been running from the first Wednesday in May
