Dear Lord, thank you for my family – for parents, siblings, children, nieces, nephews and the wider family circle. Thank you that I can be part of the lives of those to whom I am connected through my family. Thank you for the blessing that each member brings. I pray for those dear to me that you would watch over them and give them your peace in their lives. Lord, I leave them in your care, knowing that your love and concern for them is greater than my own. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Father, thank you for those who have gone before who have contributed to who I am today. I pray for the next generation and for any opportunities I have to influence them and to be an example to them. Give me wisdom in all I say and help me to live a life worthy of following. Amen.
