For the year 2020, one of JB’s most important goals is to increase our product portfolio. The recent announcement of the acquisition of C&D Valve in Oklahoma City, OK, is a step to offering a more expansive line of premier HVAC/R products. In addition to this acquisition, JB continues to enhance and expand our product offering with new, innovative tools and equipment that serve the HVAC/R industry. Some of the new 2020 product line additions include battery powered pumps, redesigned hoses, and Bluetooth capable manifolds. The goal is to offer tools that not only help technicians be more efficient but respond to changing requirements that are encountered on the job-site. New product development input continues to come from customers, sales representatives, distributors, technicians, and employees to ensure that our product development efforts are in lock-step with our customer’s needs.
Our plan for the upcoming year also includes continuous investment in the
JB Aurora, IL manufacturing facility and JB’s most important asset its people. Throughout the years, we have been fortunate when adding great people to the JB team. We continue to attract highly talented individuals that support our customers and bring JB valuable field and industry experience. You will see that several employees are being featured in this year’s catalog.
Please watch out for the launch of JB’s new digital platform. This roll-out will include a new more interactive website, additional product and training videos, more prominent social media presence, and more collateral. We are developing a program to be announced in the near future to strengthen our partnerships with our most loyal customers.
Of course, none of what we do at JB has any meaning without our loyal distributors and the customers they serve. We are indebted to them all for their support. Honesty, flexibility, fairness, integrity, and consistency represent JB’s approach to customer relationships. These core values have served JB well for 50 plus years.
All of these investments will make 2020 a very exciting year and the goal is always to ensure that JB’s reputation as a high-quality Made in America manufacturer never changes.
