PUMP OIL ACTS AS A COOLANT, LUBRICANT AND SEALANT— SIMULTANEOUSLY
Black Gold Vacuum Pump Oil is the gold standard in vacuum pump care for use in any vacuum pump. Extremely pure and non-detergent, Black Gold
is hydro processed which means it goes through
a series of catalytic steps rendering the oil extremely refined, more viscous, and more stable. The result is clear mineral oil which will alert you
to contamination sooner as it becomes cloudy or milky. In extreme temperatures, the oil will be more resistant to contaminants. JB recommends the oil be changed after every evacuation for maximum performance and pump efficiency.
The best test to check for oil contamination is through a micron gauge. In a leak-free system,
if DV-22N micron gauge is not reading a deep vacuum, the oil is contaminated and should be changed. If the micron gauge pulls down to 50 microns, the oil is good. Testing process is the only time we recommend having a micron gauge attached directly to pump.
VACUUM PUMP OIL CADDY
Deep vacuum can not be achieved with contaminated oil, laden with moisture and acid which damage pumps and shorten pump life. The Tank Vacuum Pump Oil Caddy helps to extend the life of vacuum pumps, maintaining clean oil in the pump and ensuring that
the pump operates at peak efficiency. Note: vacuum pumps require changing oil after every use.
