The Sweet Blow Up: Bralette
Oh, my goodness ladies! If guys only knew how many changes we go through, from minute to minute, day to day, and weekly. *Sigh* It is entire- ly too much! Not only are we left with hormon- al change, every time something minor or major takes place, with regard to our bodies. We are also more prone to weight fluctuation than men, based on anything from consumption of food, seasons in the year, age, or changes (menstruation, stress, menopause, childbearing, etc.). From a plus-sized woman’s perspective, it becomes quite a bit harder to be as comfortable and confident in those mo- ments, as we are ill prepared for the change.
Affordable shopping brands make garment changes a bit more reasonable, but braziers [bras] are more expensive when increased in size. Grant- ed all women have been between bra sizes, stan- dard bras can be bought at a lot cheaper price, and still provide support. For a woman, with my size (DD+), it can be significantly more expensive to buy a garment— much more a whole week’s worth of bras. Because of this, many women go so long without comfortable and well-fitted bras, yield- ing clothes being ill-fitted, irritation of the skin, self-consciousness, low confidence, and I’M SOR- RY... but tacky appearance.
Wearing affordable clothing does not always guarantee the most quality look, ultimately leav- ing the dresser, to create a more well-aligned en- semble. Just think, you ordered a sweetheart dress from FashionNova, but it doesn’t have a wire to cup under your breasts (this is the intended look). What would you do?! Probably send it back, huh?... Great this is, you don’t have to. Even the not so new strapless bra you have in the drawer, has wires, but won’t be enough to make your dress pop. The next best thing, is the bralette, you grabbed from Forev- er21 last Tuesday.
I particularly enjoy them because they comfortably pick up excess back fat, and it creates an even and sleek look, to give the garment justice, versus ruin- ing it.
The bralette is an unlined bra without underwires or a clasp. To me, it sounds like you’ll never have any worries, as it’s multifunctional. Originally, you bought it for a cute accent piece, for the skirt and blazer worn in Cabo last week. This week, you will slide it over the bra that’s loosely clasped to secure a support shape, giving a well-proportioned and smooth look to the dressed individual. Because of the smooth look the sweetheart cut dress will seem if was made, with quality.
Some bralettes can be inclusive of straps that can take an ensemble to another level, giving a more edgy, classy, or more conservative look. These straps can be stationary or interchangeable, leav- ing your wears less limiting and worth your buck spent! They can come in different colors, mainly standard colors, which may befit almost every piece required. Bralettes can be bought within most in- timate sections of women’s retail clothing stores. They vary in quality and cost, dependent of the brand. Aside from dresses, they can be added for a more modest look than a bustier or bra when wear- ing high-waisted pants, skirts, and ensembles with jackets over it.
Every time you get ready to go out, confidence should always be easy to achieve. The outcome of your appearances is dependent of the resources you have, the vision, and the application of those resources. Be optimistic in the pursuit of comfort, good looks, appeal, and style. The way individuals feel, often is conveyed by the ensemble’s final look. The Sweet Blowup is on it’s way!
