Little Wave Daddy
Is My Name,Staying Weird Is My Game
By: Masako Mai
An overnight success in eight years. How many artists, celebrities, athletes pop up on the scene with the gener- al crowd consensus thinking, it’s like they came out of nowhere. Well, arising out of nowhere actually means they have been working their knuckles to the bone, and finally, they are getting crowd movement and recogni- tion. Little Wave Daddy, 24 years old, has been making beats and telling stories through rhyme for a good de- cade on, and this time the name is reaching the mass- es. She’s got a funky style with plenty of pizazz, but the thing that sticks out with me the most is her jovial na- ture. Easy to talk too, hearing the smile in her voice, I can’t help but to wish her the greatest success in the world.
Born middle child to brother and sister, she crafted her intelligence from the artist genes of both her grandfa- ther, who is a painter and her mother, who is a poet. Shabria is her birth name, and it means to be depend- able, down-to-earth, and well grounded. She looks for meaningful work in her artistry and truly believes in the art of loyalty. She takes pride in her efforts and de- sires to interact with all the people that show her love and come with good positive energy. The best job is the one where love and creation interact to share good vibes around the world. This doesn’t come without hard work.
As the people who are following her under Little Wave Daddy, she has two hit singles out entitled “Patek, Pa- teek,” and “Lil Bitch.” The name stuck after she cut her long locks and her waves were on fire thus came to the name “Little Wave Daddy.” If you must categorize the music, call it Wave Daddy Music. Little Wave Daddy inspires all her followers to “Stay Weird,” which means stay original. Loving literature, her favorite genres of books fall within the arts & sciences, along with the Se- ries of Unfortunate Events. She likes to learn and un- learn so she can learn again.
If you can share any message with the world, she wants you to always follow your dreams, chase them until you catch them then create some more. The most import- ant thing she says is to be obedient and always obey and respect your parents. Little Wave Daddy has been
building a fanbase through social media, particularly In- stagram since 2010/2011. She has been hacked about 40 to 50 times on her account. The Miss Little Wave Daddy is knowledgeable and diligent in her efforts.
In 2008/2009 she launched her first video online of her tap dancing, she loves to dance-pop and hip-hop. The first songs she independently released were My Wave- Crank That Wo Dance. She equates good energy to stay- ing down with her vision; she loves to respond to people online, so she has an authentic connection with them when traveling to their home town. Life is all about con- necting, build a bond of trust. She has the same energy as Bruno Mars. Always looking to be relevant within her own eye’s she loves rocking new swag with multiple color changes of the hair. People love the green she’s rolling re- minding me of Jared Leto as The Joker in the superhero film Suicide Squad.
Where can you find Little Wave Daddy? Across all social media platforms, including her YouTube channel @Lit- tleWaveDaddy. Find her on tour and within the Dallas Ft. Worth Metroplex at The Greek Festival on June 8th. Seeking to book her in your town, contact her manage- ment team Big E @ItsABigEBeat and Ken Thomas, Rap- a-Lot Records. Always be willing to change within the moment, staying true to her name, this is possible by be- ing very detailed, well organized, and secure within your skin. Follow Little Wave Daddy and check out my favor- ite title from her; Surviving The Silly Ho.
You Cut Your Hair Now What? Her Mother completely freaked when she cut her beautiful long locks, but it turns out it was the best thing yet, as Little Wave Daddy, hit the stage with deep waves and a name that rolls off the tongue of all who say it. Get Some. Always have the con- fidence to reinvent yourself; don’t let anyone discourage you, and for you, parents out there with creative children support their dream and vision versus telling them to get a crap job with God has given them the insight to ful- fill. Support is compelling in words, encouragement, and positive reinforcement. With so much happening in the world, the most important thing is love, honor, loyalty, and support of one another. We can go further faster with people who believe we can change our history with our vision and efforts of who we are to become. Little Wave Daddy is weird, kind, and very jovial. She looks forward to meeting you at her meet and greets and while she is on tour. Come out and support, she welcomes your engage- ment. All Positive Vibes.
