        NO Smoking Policy
As we in GEMS Education are committed to protecting the health and safety of all GEMS students, staff, contracted staff, parents and our school visitors, a NO-Smoking Policy is embraced in all GEMS schools operating in Egypt and all GEMS schools worldwide.
Passive smoking/second-hand smoke (breathing other people’s tobacco smoke) has been medically proven to cause lung cancer and heart disease to non-smokers, as well as many other illness and minor conditions. Therefore, It is GEMS’ duty of care toward our students, staff, contracted staff, parents and school visitors to provide a healthy and smoke free environment. As such, a NO Smoking Policy has been adopted that prohibits smoking in GEMS Schools.
