Rodney Strong Rose of Pinot Noir
Rose season is upon us! Patios all over Sarasota will be adorned with this springtime wine favorite, and contrary to popular belief, there are many different options to choose from
– place, grape, style. A great place to start is with a wine we fea- tured at March’s wine dinner – Rodney Strong Vineyards’ Rose of Pinot Noir. A new wine release, this wine is 100% Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley AVA in Sonoma County, California. It was crafted using a delicate balance of traditional winemak- ing and innovation in one of the world’s most highly regarded regions for growing the Pinot Noir grape.
This elegant rose is a beautifully colored, vibrant pink that evokes thirst. At first sip, fresh aromas and flavors of strawber- ry and white peach start off the experience, followed by pink grapefruit, and a touch of jasmine flower. It’s bright and brilliant, with the ripe fruit maintained in the lasting, juicy finish. Whether we’re enjoying our rose with the team after work or at home in our favorite pair of jeans, this is a wine meant to inspire joy in our everyday moments.
Rodney Strong Vineyards is a family-owned winery focused on modern artisan winemaking. They are committed to crafting quality wines using only grapes grown exclusively in Sonoma County, California. As winemakers they are pioneers of sus- tainability efforts in the California winemaking community – they are solar powered, certified sustainable, practice Fish-Friendly Farming and are Sonoma County’s first carbon neutral winery.
