trained to guard the native  ocks and hopefully negate the need to harm these fabulous creatures, along with leopards and caracals. On to Etosha in the north, where we stayed in the wildlife park itself among a fabulously rich and varied wildlife. This had to my favourite place. The last place we played cricket, - remember the giant beer can dispensing drinks? As ever we met nothing but the generosity and kindness of our fellow human beings, enjoy- ing the fellowship and (dancing) fun of delightful companions. So many of them no longer with
us, but only possible because of the painstaking planning of each and every Forty Club tour leader. Thank you XL Club. May you continue to enjoy many more tours.
