Ashley Rust
director of Marketing
An Austin, TX native, Ashley graduated with honors from Texas State University at San Marcos prior to beginning her career in new home residential marketing. Shortly after graduation, Ashley accepted a marketing position with Houston-based home builder and developer CastleRock Communities. As the rst and only marketing employee for the company she gained valuable experience in a multitude of marketing functions including graphic design, contract negotiation, digital advertising and branding. This position provided the unique opportunity to build the marketing department from the ground up. Receiving very little training and being expected to perform at the highest level, Ashley quickly learned how to work independently and e ciently. During her time with CastleRock she redeveloped the full digital platform resulting in an increase of on-line tra c by 60% while simultaneously saving over 50% in digital marketing expenses.
After moving back to the Austin area, Ashley joined Legacy as a Marketing Coordinator in March of 2016. This position provides marketing support for Legacy Resorts, strategic builder partner, Legacy DCS, as well as Legacy’s real estate brokerage Highlands Realty. As a Marketing Coordinator, Ashley was solely responsible for the planning, design, and execution of various marketing functions including digital outreach, community events, print deliverables and business development strategy. Ashley’s proven success in strategic planning and execution led to her promotion to Marketing Manager in March of 2017. As the head of the growing Marketing Department Ashley is responsible for overseeing all marketing and business development operations including critical path development and implementation, brand management, budget analysis, print and digital design, campaign creation and team execution. Working alongside an incredible team of talented professionals, Ashley’s impressive work ethic and passion for real estate led her being named the 2019 Marketing Professional of the Year by the Home Builders Association of Austin.
Cass Brewer, born entrepreneur, has been launching and managing businesses since age 13. He has worked for a Fortune 100 corporation in its development divisions, been Vice President of the Texas Division of Centex Destination Properties, and managed projects for C.F. Jordan, Inc., a leading developer of multi-family housing. Brewer has been recognized for his passion for sustainable building practices and innovative design concepts including his hallmark collection of Peak Performance Lifestyle HomesTM. His diverse experience in home building, renovations and multifamily-condo construction gives him the advantage of knowing the most e cient means of completing a project. Cass holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Texas State University. He is a Certi ed Energy Star Builder committed to the concept of high quality green building. Cass currently lives in Lost Creek area of Austin, Texas with his wife and two children.
