Delta Fellowship
2018 became a pivotal year for the Delta Fellowship and those
who have been engaged for several years to bring it to birth in Pia Mark the world.
After two years of local field trials - in Scotland’s Findhorn community, in Bulgaria with our marvelous Gene Keys Bulgaria team, in Bucharest with members of our thriving Romanian Gene Keys community and in the Society with an international online test group, we were ready to distill the learning and prepare for a Delta Fellowship public debut in the Gene Keys Society.
A seven-person working group was set up, with representatives of seven countries - Bulgaria, Canada, Denmark, Romania, Sweden, UK and the US. Members who had already earned their Delta wings rubbed shoulders alongside newcomers to Delta and the Society.
With feedback shared and some preliminary decisions confirmed about positioning, the online product development team rolled up their sleeves, to put in place website infrastruc- ture and a support team framework for Delta Fellowship introduction.
The working group played with logos and banner graphics. A single design backed by all proved elusive, and so the development team opted for a simple house style, mirroring that currently used on the Society’s website for the Ambassador Circle.
Pia Mark accepted the role of Delta Fellowship Coordinator and the working group held its final meeting in September. By October 2018, we were ready to test website infrastructure with two online test teams, one North American and self organising, and the other stretching from Scotland to East Coast Australia, and focalised by Pia.
