Using medicinal and wild edible plants is a great way to connect with the natural world while building your personal knowledge and self-reliance. Each issue, I will highlight a new plant for the homestead that can be grown in the garden or collected from the wild throughout the Maritimes. These profiles will feature a mix of cultivated, meadow, and forest plants that can be made into food and medicine and used help to restore natureâs balance.
