Simple resources to help recruit new ACT members Now is a great time to be recruiting new members to ACT. The more members we have, the more influence we have both locally and nationally. This helps ACT

But, before you begin recruiting, you might need some basic information to share with the potential new members at your workplace.
1. Four reasons why you should join ACT:
• ACT represents Title 32 Air and Army National Guard Employees and Title 5 Federal Employees and Others.
• ACT is an independent union without allegiance or ties to other labor organizations.
• ACT lobbies for Title 32 and Title 5 Employees in
Washington and represents their interests on the job, in Congress and in legislatures. • ACT has full-time National Representatives and other subject matter experts.
• ACT provides at no additional cost Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D)
2. How much it costs to join:
The annual bi-weekly dues to join the ACT is 0.008% of a member’s salary. Dues are paid by through automatic salary deduction.
