VAREP’s mission is to increase sustainable
homeownership, provide financial-literacy education, and
create economic opportunity for the active-military and
veteran communities.
Our Board - Featuring: Vice President
VAREP - Broward Chapter is proud to announce Mario E. Cerrato as our new
Vice President. Mario previously held the position of Treasurer, and has accepted
a new leadership role as our Vice President. Please help us congratulate Mario,
we look forward to doing great things together.
Mario is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps where he served our
country for 6 years. He is a seasoned professional in the mortgage industry
where he has been managing teams of loan officers and helping people realize
the dream of homeownership for 18 years.
He has a passion for coaching, business development and helping loan officers
reach their full potential. He prides himself on teaching his team and clients how to define and focus on specific
mortgage financing needs as an integral part of one’s overall financial picture rather than just a single transaction. He
brings a mix of professional leadership development, business strategy and has an "in the trenches" style of
management.
Mario received his B.A. in Business Administration with a major in Management Information Systems from Florida
International University in 2001. Mario is the consummate family man with his wife and five daughters that keep him
busy on the weekends.
