Payment Schedule
This is a Quarter Horse Racing program for Two-Year- Old foals of 2019 by participating Stallions since the program was founded. All Fillies will be entered in
the Black Gold Oaks Championship and all Colts and Geldings will be entered in the Black Gold Futurity Championship. New Stallions may be added as their ONE TIME- LIFETIME FEE is paid. Contact OQHRA for a list of eligible stallions. Timed trials will be run to determine the 10 finalists for each Championship. Weights for these races will be 124 lbs. NO SUPPLEMENTAL TIME OF ENTRY PAYMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

If a payment is missed, that payment must be doubled to remain eligible. Payments shall be sent to: Oklahoma Quarter Horse Racing Assn. • P.0, Box 2907- Edmond, OK 73083. *Estimated Purses- The total purse for each Championship will be determined by combining all nomination and sustaining payments for each particular race less 15% deduction for administrative and advertising expense, and plus $12,500 per race added from Horsemen’s Purse Account as well as $20,000 per race in Stallion Funds for 2021, and an additional amount of $100,000 per race added from the Oklahoma Tribal Purse Fund. 5% will be deducted from each Championship purse and paid as Stallion Awards. Stallion awards will pay 10 places in each Championship. All 2021 Black Gold Races will be conducted during the 2021 Will Rogers Downs Quarter Horse Mixed Meet.
PURSE DISTRIBUTION: 40%, 17%, 11%, 9%, 7%, 5%, 4%, 3%, 2%, 2% OQHRA reserves the right to promote the Black Gold Futurity in any manner deemed appropriate. OQHRA reserves the right to increase added money or otherwise amend these conditions. Added money from Oklahoma tribal purse funds subject to availability and approval by OHRC. Awards and trophies are provided by OQHRA.
