THE STALLIONS IMPORTANT NOTICE SPEEDHORSE RACES
The Speedhorse Races are merely proposed races which may or may not run at the discretion of Speedhorse. The proposed races should be considered only as a bonus to stallion advertisers and no part of stallion advertising expense should be placed with Speedhorse with the expectation that the races will be run. Advertisers are purchasing advertising space only and no separate contractual right exists to demand that a race be conducted. Advertisers will therefore hold Speedhorse harmless from any damages for cancellation of said races.
Statistical information and pedigrees on Thoroughbreds were compiled using the traditional “stakes” standards for black-type: stakes winners and horses placing
second or third in a stakes, regardless of the added money value of the race, are displayed in bold-faced type. Current cataloging standards adopted by many North American sale companies may not award black-type to some of these horses, while awarding black-type to horses that won or placed as high as fourth in certain overnight races.
Information as to races, race results and/or earnings of Quarter Horses was compiled by Speedhorse from result charts published by the American Quarter Horse Association, copyright owner of said charts.
Information as to races, race results and/or earnings of Thoroughbreds was compiled by Speedhorse, Inc. from data obtained from Equineline and The Jockey Club Statistical Bureau and is used with permission.
Information as to races, race results and/or earnings of Paint and Appaloosa horses were compiled by Speedhorse from results provided by The American Paint Horse Association and the Appaloosa Horse Club. Information as to barrel results was compiled by Speedhorse from data obtained from Equi-Stat and is used with permission.
