Whistle Stop Cafe’s sire is Freighttrain B.
He was transferred to James Sills in 2015 and then later that year was purchased by Chad Hart. Bobby Cox bought him in 2015 and he stands at the Cox Stallion Station in Louisiana.

THE SIRE
Freighttrain B, the sire of Whistle Stop Cafe, was the winner of the 2010 Black Gold Futurity Championship-RG3, the 2011 Oklahoma Derby and the 2011 Black Gold Derby. He
was second in the Black Gold 350 Futurity. He earned $421,761 from 16 lifetime starts with nine wins, two seconds and one third. He set a New Track Record in 2011 at Remington Park for 250 yards in a time of :12.849.
Bill Price and Bob Petersen of Thackerville, Oklahoma, were the breeders of Freighttrain B. He raced for James Sills and Gerald Swindell of Cedar Hill, Texas.
