D. Burns and owned by Rosenthal Ranch, LLC, the 2020 stallion earned $1,685,355 winning
the Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity-G1 and the Ruidoso Derby-G1. He was in the money in 10 of 12 starts. Cyber Attack is a full sibling to 7 blacktype runners, including millionaires Bomb Cyclone and Powerful Favorite, and he is a half- sibling to 5 blacktype runners. He is out of AQHA Dam of Distinction and 2-time Speedhorse Broodmare of the Year, Remember Me Rose. He will stand for a 2024 fee of $7,500.

 Eduardo Nicasio Awarded Sam Thompson Memorial Award
Eduardo Nicasio was awarded the 2023 Sam Thompson Memorial Award surrounded by some of the past recipients of the award and the jockey colony on Sept. 3 at Ruidoso Downs. One of the most prestigious awards given to Quarter Horse jockeys and presented at Ruidoso Downs, the Sam Thompson Memorial Award is voted on by past award recipients and recognizes those riders whose careers and personal charac- ter are a role model of conduct on and off the racetrack. The 2023 award was presented by the Sam Thompson Memorial Foundation and the vote from the panel of former Sam Thompson Award winners made Nicasio the newest mem- ber of this elite group. Known for his support of his fellow riders, Nicasio has had an impressive career in Quarter Horse racing with 756 wins and over $22.3 million in earnings on such horses as Apollitical Jess, Good Reason SA, Last To Fire, Apollitical Blood, Powerful Favorite, Cyber Attack and Bomb Cyclone. “It is such
Mr Jess Perry To Louisiana For 2024 Breeding Season
A shareholder meeting on Aug. 31 deter- mined the remaining semen of 2-time Cham- pion Mr Jess Perry SI 113 (Streakin La Jolla- Scoopie Fein, Sinn Fein), who earned $687,184 and is the #3 all-time leading sire of money earners, will have his semen available through syndicate manager Grant Farms in Louisiana. Jon and Donna McPherson, originally share- holders in Mr Jess Perry, own Grant Farms.
The Louisiana Center of Equine Reproduction (LACER), in Opelousas, have become stallion managers on the remaining semen. Mr Jess Perry, who died in 2017, is the sire of 25 crops to race earners of over $61.5 million, including nine Champions in World Champion
