When we started our look back at the All American Futurity it was noted that each horse took a different path to win this prestigious race. One Dashing Eagle not only fulfilled the All American Dream for his connections but took an unusual path by winning two more million dollar races. Now that is an interesting All American Dream story.

One Dashing Eagle wasn’t done yet
as he returned to Los Alamitos with another race in mind - the Golden State Million Futurity-G1. This race was run in November. He won his trial and then the finals, giving him wins in three million dollar futurities. This added another $460,660 to his earnings. So, from
June 4 to November 4, One Dashing Eagle had won three million dollar races. His earnings of $2,079,065 was a new record of money earned in a single year. His race record stood at six wins in seven starts. He was named the 2012 World Champion as well as the Champion Two Year Old and the Champion Two-Year Old Colt.
