(Only $2,500 if your stallion has never bred a mare at time of enrollment)
• Payment of Stallion Participation Fee enrolls the Stallion in the OQHRA Black Gold Program forever. All existing and future foals become immediately eligible for nomination to any Black Gold Futurity on which payments are currently being taken.
• A minimum of $25,000 will be added to each year’s Black Gold Championship Futurity program. 2018 Futurity added money will also include $225,000 from Tribal Purse Funds and $25,500 from Stallion Nominations. These funds will be divided with 1⁄2 in each of the Championship distances for 2018.
• For 2018 this program will include two races, a RG3 Black Gold Championship Futurity at 350 yards, and a RG3 Black Gold Championship Futurity at 440 yards, each with an estimated purse of $300,000. One entry fee allows each eligible horse to run in the trials for both the 350 and the 440 yard Championships. No time of entry payments are required. The total entry fee per horse is $2,400 plus any late fees, etc. as required in the conditions of the races.
• 5% will be deducted from each Championship purse and paid in Stallion Awards. Pays 10 places in each Championship.
