Run Potion traces back to her third dam, Scouts Melody, a winning Scout Leader (TB) mare who ran second in the 1998 Shue Fly Stakes (R) at Sunland Park. The $9,360 win- ner’s share of the purse from her first win in four starts pushed her bankroll to $12,520.
Fly On Down ran third, three- quarters of a length behind Run Potion, and was followed by FS Maxximillian, Fantastico Dragon, Have Another One, Blazinberryberryfast, Cannelloni, Ember Moon, and Moon Girl On Fire.
