REQUEST FORM FOR BROODMARES IN FOAL RETURNING TO THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO
This form MUST BE submitted PRIOR to foaling or a fee of $2,000 will apply. For the resulting foal to be eligible for registration as a New Mexico Bred, the following must occur:
• The NMHBA must have on file the Request Form For Broodmares In Foal To Leave The State Of New Mexico.
• The Broodmares in Foal Returning to the State form must be submitted to NMHBA prior to foaling (if sent by mail, the postmark must be prior to foaling date) or penalties may apply.
• If the Request Form For Broodmares In Foal To Leave the State Of New Mexico and/or the Request Form For Broodmares In Foal Returning To The State Of New Mexico are not submitted on time, call the NMHBA for instructions and explanation of resulting fees.
