A Look BAck At the
All AmericAn Futurity

Our 2020 look at the history of the All American Futurity took place during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic that
devastated our world. The horse racing industry in 2020 overcame the odds and continued racing despite Covid-19 and having no fans to cheer the horses on. Now that 2021 is upon us, we returned to a more normal racing situation with some good rac- ing this year and the fans back. This year’s crop of outstanding two year olds are lining up to fulfill someone’s All American Dream. When the 2021 All American Futurity winner is crowned, that horse will join a select group of past winners. So, let’s take a look at these six past All American winners – Pokey Bar (1961), Mr Kid Charge (1971), Special Effort (1981), Royal Quick Dash (1991), Ausual Suspect (2001), Ochoa (2011) – and learn a little bit about how they fulfilled the All American Dream.
