HERITAGE PLACE - SALES
The 46th annual Heritage Place Fall Mixed Sale was held over three days in Oklahoma City on Nov. 2-4, 2023. Of the 729 horses offered, 614 were sold with gross sales of $10,972,700. The average selling price was $15,052.
“Heritage Place would like to thank all our customers for their business...” said Heritage Place General Manager Spence Kidney.
The $230,000 high seller was Hip #570 Woodys Copy Cat (Woodbridge-Fast Copy Miss, Heza Fast Man), a 7-year-old mare consigned by Cornerstone Stables, Agent and
purchased by MJ Farms. Woodys Copy Cat won the New Mexico Classic Futurity-RG2, and was a runner-up in the New Mexican Spring Futurity-RG2, Sunburst Stakes-RG2, Mesilla Valley Speed Handicap-RG2 and Lou Wooten and Sydney Valentini Handicap-RG2. She is a full sister to Reef Ridge, who finished second in the Mountain Top Futurity-RG2.
The second high seller was Hip #384 Carters Law (Carters Cartel-Zoomin Zoey B, Stoli), a 4-year-old filly consigned by Gordon Timm and purchased by Bobby Cox for $215,000. Carters Law has won the
Sterlie Bertram Memorial Stakes and was stakes placed in the Horseshoe Indianapolis Classic and Horseshoe Indianapolis August Overnight Stakes. She is a half-sister to Zoomin B Cartel, winner of the Miss Roxie Little Futurity.
Bobby Cox was the sale’s leading buyer, purchasing three horses for $400,000, including the second high seller. He was also the leading consignor with 23 horses selling for $1,180,500. Flying Cowboy 123 was the sale’s leading sire by average of two or more sold with 10 selling for an average of $48,100.
