According to a Ruidoso Downs press release on January 26, the New Mexico Racing Commission has approved the ownership trans- fer of All American Ruidoso Downs LLC, All American Ruidoso Horse Sales LLC, and Billy the Kid Casino to Johnny Trotter as sole owner. The final transfer is pending the approval of the New Mexico Gaming Control Board.
Trotter previously had partnership share ownership of the property and affiliated
business with co-owners Chicho Flores and the Stan Sigman Family. The partnership formerly included John Andreini, who passed away in 2018, and Stan Sigman, who passed away in 2020.
Johnny Trotter is a Texas businessman, avid horseman and roper. He is actively involved
in farming, ranching, cattle feeding, bank- ing, automobile dealerships, real estate, and other businesses. He served as director of First
National Bank Shares Inc., and is President of Whiteface Ford dealership in Hereford, Texas.

in place, and several improvements to the property and our programs currently are under consideration,” said Trotter. “We are the home of the nation’s best racing and sales, both Ruidoso Select Yearling and New Mexico-Bred Quarter Horses and Thoroughbreds.
