“At the start we had a slight contact with DK Fire One (#7), but we were able to move freely all the way. On the right we were very close to the colt Cortez Feisty (#9), but she withstood the pressure very well to reach the finish line first. Felina Eagle is very brave and she has a big heart, demonstrating her genetics and the preparation that she received,” Orlando concluded.
Trainer Ismael Parra Martínez heads the young Cuadra Hnos. “I selected the filly from among several yearlings that Mr. Salomé Gallegos presented to me, and after the auction she became part of the stable, whose name is in honor of my four children. Since she arrived, she has been a very dedicated runner with a lot of heart and now was no exception, having made a perfect race at the decisive moment and against rivals of a very good level,” commented Parra Martínez, a native of the Port of Veracruz.
“This season we plan to run her in the other restricted futurities for foals born in Mexico: Garañones, Subasta Selecta and Mexican Breeders Challenge, hoping that she will remain healthy. I take advantage of this space that Speedhorse gives me to express my happiness for this significant victory, happiness that I share with each and every one of those who do the daily work on the team, for which I am very grateful to them,” he concluded.
