Imperial Hint was blessed with speed. The Thoroughbred son of Imperialism notched four Grade 1 wins in New York during an accomplished racing career that saw him bank $2,209,055. A back-to-back winner of the prestigious Alfred Vanderbilt Handicap-G1 and the Vosburgh-G1 two years in a row, Imperial Hint set a New Track Record at Saratoga, getting 6-furlongs in a head- turning 1:07.92. All told, he won 11 stakes events,
10 of them graded, and placed in an additional five stakes races. Imperial Hint, who is out of the winning Lahint mare Royal Hint, was a winner every year from ages three through six.

Mr Jess Perry. Jess Different was a $220,000 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale graduate. He won two of five career starts for owner Cox-Lane LLC, and broke his maiden at Remington Park at two. He won his trial heat for the Rainbow Derby in his final career start at Ruidoso Downs.
Jess Different’s dam is the track record holder and multiple stakes winner Little Surfer SI 104, by First Down Dash. She is a sister to World Champion Wave Carver SI 104, Champion Ocean Runaway SI 105, and Wave Her Down SI 95. Little Surfer is the dam of 19 winners and 22 ROM, including 2-time Champion Uncle D SI 96, stakes winner Rip Tide SI 107, and Grade 1-placed Call Me Cole SI 93.
“We don’t have any here at the farm,
but most everyone that has bred to him has bred back to him,” said Jerome Bellard, farm manager at Cox Stallion Station. “Everyone brags on them (yearlings) to me, and just about all the breeders have returned.”
KJ Mucho Macho Man

KJ Mucho Macho Man SI 96, second in the Texas Classic Derby-G1 at three, won or placed in 14 of 16 career starts while earning $293,474. A three-time winner at two, KJ Mucho Macho Man was second in the Texas Classic Juvenile and third in the West Texas Futurity-G2 and Ruidoso Invitational, and he was also a finalist in the All American Derby-G1 and Rainbow Derby-G1.

Mpshinning
(Mr Piloto-Shinningperrydash, First To Shine) Stands at Burns Ranch

A six-time stakes winner, Mpshinning SI 107 came out running at two. He won the LQHBA Louisiana Million Futurity-RG1 at Evangeline Downs, covering 400 yards in :19.405 for a new stakes record. He also won the Gillespie County Fair Futurity as a juvenile and finished second
in the Dash For Cash Futurity-G2 at Lone
Star Park en route to banking $591,654 in his freshman season on the racetrack. The following year at three, he finished second in the Dash for Cash Derby-G2 at Lone Star Park and LQHBA Breeders’ Derby-G3 at Evangeline Downs.
At four, he took down top prize in the Miss Polly Classic-G2, the Mid City Stakes-G3 and the King William Stakes, and at five he annexed the Sam’s Town Stakes. All told, he won 11 of 26 outings and earned $850,025. Mpshinning’s dam is the First To Shine mare Shinningperrydash, who has produced five winners from six starters. Mpshinning hails from the family of Champion and all-time leading money earner Ochoa SI 109, two-time Champion Feature Mr Bojangles SI 103, Champion Carters Cartel SI 103, among many others.
“We have quite a few here at the ranch, and they are outstanding,” said Steve Burns of Mpshinning’s yearlings. “We love them. He is putting quite a bit of body on them. They are good and correct. We are tickled with them.”
