The Ruby Buckle Horse Sale was held Apr. 27 at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, Oklahoma. The sale was held in conjunction with Ruby Buckle Barrel Race.
A total of 101 horses were consigned to the sale, with 27 no sales, for a total of 74 horses selling, including two embryos, for $1,544,650 and an average price of $20,874.
Hip #12 was the $130,000 high seller. Miss Rocking Vodka (Triple Vodka-Miss King Gin, My Masster Gin) was consigned by Julia Leao and puchased by Sofia Roberts. The 2018 chestnut mare is a barrel money earner of over $76,000. She is the 2023 Stopanio Memorial Barrels Incentive Slot Open 2D Champion and 2022 Royal Crown Breeders Waco Futurity Open 2D Average Champion. Miss Rocking Vodka is the first starter out of Miss King Gin.
The co-second-highest seller at $80,000 was Hip #70 Five L Bugsnthedark (Shawne Bug Leo-Cfour Darkpatchpatsy, Darkelly), consigned by Kelsey Grown, Agent for Five L Far, and purchased by Sofia Roberts. The 2021 sorrel gelding is a half-brother

Barrel Race.
A total of 133 horses were consigned to the sale, with 30 no sales, for a total
of 103 horses sold, including 17 embryos, for $6,257,000 and an average price of $60,748.
Hip #92 was the $875,000 high
seller. Blackkout (Winners Version-RC Back In Black, Ninety Nine Goldmine) was consigned by Solo Select Relentless Remuda and purchased by Danny Ray of Victory Farms. The black colt is a half- brother to RF Back For The Cash, 2023 Lone Star Shootout Open Derby Reserve Champion and Brookstone Is Back, 2023 Kinder Sup Championship Futurity Round 2 Open 1D Co-Reserve Champion. Hip #65 Kiss Me Goodby was the third-highest seller at $490,000. She
is by Leading Barrel Sire The Goodbye Lane and out of Kisskiss Bangbang
by Dash Ta Fame. She was consigned by Garrett & Brittant Tonozzi and purchased by 4M Equine Ranch.
