Mr Ottyes won or placed in 11 of 14 starts, earned $42,763, was third in the Manor Downs Derby-G2, and was a finalist in the Sam Houston Futurity-G1 and Longhorn Derby-G3. The 2001 bay stallion is the
sire of over $1.1 million from limited starters, including four blacktype runners with his top earner being 2022 Ruidoso Futurity-G1 winner Otts Boy ($437,050).
A Sweet Jess
A Sweet Jess (Apollitical Jess-One
Sweet Dash, First Down Dash) will
stand the 2023 season at Woods Farm
in Bear River, Wyoming. The 2017
sorrel stallion will stand for a fee of
$1,500 and is the only son of World
Champion and 9-time Champion sire Apollitical Jess in the state. A Sweet Jess won his All American Futurity trial and earned $6,745 in his race career. He is a half-brother to World Champion One Dashing Eagle ($2,079,065) and out of multiple Graded stakes winner One Sweet Dash, the dam of six blacktype runners. His first foals are weanlings of 2022. A Sweet Jess is owned by Trent Woods.
